Mussoorie :- Mussoorie, literally known as the Empress of The Hills, has trapped couples with its blanket of quixotic air, no less than a wonderland. Standing at an altitude of 6,600 ft, it gives a star-studded view of Doon valley and Shiwalik Hills. The leisurely wander to few very  awe-inspiring places as Kempty falls, Mussoorie Lake, Nag Devta temple, Cloud End will make your moments spellbound.

Rishikesh :- Stationed in the feet of Himalayas, Rishikesh is an idyllic terminus for thrill-seeking tourists, musing people and whose thoughts lie on the facets of Hindu culture. Rishikesh reflects a sanctified place as there are many pre-historic temples and ashrams. Also, mythology says that this is the place where Lord Vishnu was victorious over demon Madhu. Considered to be a small town, but this place observes the International Yoga Week year after year which has visitors from all over the world. The prominent sight-seeing places are-

Laxman Jhoola/Ram Jhoola :- Basically a bridge over the mighty Ganga, it is a connection for people to commute to two places. In ancient times, Laxman built this innovative bridge on jute ropes which has been now significantly modified to iron heldup bridge. The graceful Ganga can be seen gushing down and it makes a picturesque view of the surroundings.

Laxmanji Temple :- This temple depicts the valor and bravery of Lord Laxman holding his bow and arrow which is sculpted in the temple premises. It also shows the love he had for his brother Shri Ram.

Bharat Mata Mandir :- As the name illustrates, this temple was devoted by Indian flag-wavers for their Mother India. The temple is a dedication to all the Indians who have love for their motherland and are nationalists. The eight-floored temple has effigy of all the Gods on each floor showing the unity of India.

Swarg Ashram :- This is the oldest yoga ashram in Rishikesh. Since ancient days, sadhus and rishis used to meditate and is still considered to be a pious place to gain spirituality and heavenly abode.

Anand Bhawan :-Started by Shri Shri Gurudeva in 1930, it was an ashram where devotees used to muse and gained devine life. However, after Gurudev’s death, the ashram was refurbished by the disciples. The environment is serene and calm.

SaptRishi Ashram :- Sapt means “seven’ and Rishi means “saint”, so legend depicts seven saints who mediated in bed of river Ganga. However, distrupted by the gurgling sound of the river, Ganga fragmented the water in seven tributaries called SaptSarovar and hence the place got its name as the ashram of the seven saints.

Haridwar :- Haridwar, known as”Divine City” is amongst one of the seven blessed places for pilgrimage. A holy bath in the rippling waters of River Ganga is certainly the first step to acquire the blessings of Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Maheshwar. This legendary place has its fame for Ayurvedic and herbal medications.  And not to be missed, the great Kumbh Mela where devotees flock from the whole world to wash away their wordly evil and to attain liberation. Haridwar is no less a worth-seeing city which includes,

Pawan Dham :-Eminent for its delicate and fine glass and mirror work, this dham is at a distance of 2 kms from Haridwar. The idols are ornamented and embellished which will turn all the eyes and grab the attention of the viewers. Founded by Swami Vedantanandji, it has helped the society enormously by various free sevas to animals, saints and sadhus since ages which marks its as an NGO.

Vaishno Devi Mandir :- Amidst the beautiful mountains and scenic beauty of Jammu, at foothills of Trikut Parvat, Katra, lies the temple of Mata Vaishno Devi. At an altitude of 5,300 feet and with mountains forming the lower Himalayas, it is one of the most sought after places in India. It is one of the main Hindu shaktipeeths and is majorly visited by devotees of goddess Durga. Mata Vaishno Devi is considered to be one of the divine forms of MahaKali, MahaLakshmi and MahaSaraswati, combined.

Shiva temple :-Encased in the midst of Manikoot, Brahmakoot and Vishnukoot valleys at the convergence of two rivers Pankaja and Madhumati, is the beautiful Lord Shiva temple. It is walled by heavy plantation. Being the Neelkanth’s  shrine, Mahashivratri is the most celebrated festival of this place.

Sacred Bath on Har ki pauri :- As name suggests, it is considered to be a sacred place for bathing as Ma Ganga gushes directly from the Himalayas and floods the devotees with its purity. Ganga Aarti is performed in the Ganga temple very religiously and the greatest Kumbh Mela marks the prominence of this place.

Mansa Devi Temple :- by Trolly Mansa means to yearn, desire. In this temple, the wishes of the people are fulfilled who worship and devote to Mataji. Trekking and trolley’s used in rope-ways are the means of communication to the shrine. The trolley transports the pilgrims to the temple.
